This is what happens to an animal when the company uses animals to test its product. Some of these companies are L’Oreal (Lancome, Maybelline), Johnson & Johnson (and their brands such as Carefree, K.Y), Clairol, Clearasil, Estee Lauder, Gilette (Proctor & Gamble), Herbal Essences, Listerine, Nair, Olay, Oral B, Palmolive and many, many more.
I used the least triggering image I could find (and will update with a source when I find it) - things can get much worse for the animals than this. Here is a list of companies that do not test on animals. I tend to just avoid most of the big companies like Proctor & Gamble and Unilever anyway. There are a lot of local, vegan companies that need our support.
